The Narrative
The documentary film The Narrative tells the story of Kweku Adoboli – the UBS trader who, after a multi-billion-dollar loss in 2011, was presented as the sole culprit, convicted, and later deported to Ghana. This story immediately inspired me to develop very direct, bold poster ideas. The extreme contrast between a black trader and the white financial elite of the City of London almost demands strong visual statements. Through close collaboration with the filmmakers, the clarity of that statement was eventually softened a bit. ;-)
